The latest State Employment and Unemployment (Monthly) news release has been posted on the BLS website at https://www.bls.gov/news.release/pdf/laus.pdf and also archived at https://www.bls.gov/news.release/archives/laus_05212021.pdf. Highlights are below. April jobless rates down in 12 states; payroll jobs up in 9 states, down in 2 05/21/2021 In April, unemployment rates were lower in 12 states and the District of Columbia and stable in 38 states.
