Arrested, then traumatized: Black people on what comes after police encounters

Black people who've had troubling encounters with police grapple with lasting trauma. Racial profiling, false arrests and aggressive demeanors leave some people wary of law enforcement.

"Every time I see a cop, I go: 'Oh no. What now?' I expect something to happen," one man said. "Something like that sticks with you in a bad way."
