The latest U.S. Import and Export Price Indexes news release has been posted on the BLS website at https://www.bls.gov/news.release/pdf/ximpim.pdf and also archived at https://www.bls.gov/news.release/archives/ximpim_04142021.pdf. Highlights are below. Import prices increase 1.2% in March on higher nonfuel prices; export prices rise 2.1% 04/14/2021 Prices for U.S. imports increased 1.2 percent in March following a 1.3-percent advance in February. Export prices rose 2.1 percent in March, after increasing 1.6 percent the previous month. Over the past year, import prices advanced 6.9 percent and export prices rose 9.1 percent.
