Louisiana man arrested in connection to 2004 cold case homicide of Courtney Coco
An arrest has been made in the 2004 cold case homicide of Courtney Coco. David Anthony Burns, 43, of Boyce, Louisiana, was arrested Tuesday and charged with second-degree murder, Alexandria Police announced. Detective Tanner Dryden, who was assigned to the case in October 2018, made the arrest.

Family offering $10,000 reward in decades-old unsolved murder of South Dakota woman
Monica L. Bercier Wickre went missing on April 7, 1993 after being out with friends at a bar called The Body Shop in Aberdeen, South Dakota, where she lived. She caught a ride with a couple she knew and a man she did not know. It was the last time she was seen alive. On June 16, 1993, her badly decomposed body was found by a passerby in a canoe in the James River just outside of Aberdeen. Her killer has never been caught. The Brown County Sheriff's Office is investigating.

Search continues for missing National Guardsman two months after his car was found at Río Grande Gorge Bridge in New Mexico
Juan Muñoz, 20, of Taos, New Mexico, was last seen at the National Guard Armory in Río Rancho, New Mexico, on February 20, 2021. When he didn't show up for training, his sergeant reported him missing. Juan's car was found the next day at the Río Grande Gorge Bridge near Taos. His wallet, cell phone and car keys were inside. But there was no sign of Juan. The New Mexico State Police is investigating.
