Queen sits alone as royal family lays Prince Philip to rest in solemn, scaled-back funeral honoring his 'unwavering loyalty'

Prince Philip was laid to rest at Windsor Castle on Saturday as Britain's royal family said farewell to the family patriarch and Queen Elizabeth II's husband of 73 years.

 

 

The queen, 94, who has called her husband her "strength and stay," sat at a distance from the other attendees as Covid-19 forced a scaled-back funeral service.
