Apr 07, 2021 Biden to announce series of executive actions on firearms, nominate gun control advocate to lead ATF President Joe Biden is expected to announce executive actions Thursday involving gun control, as well as nominate David Chipman as the new head of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, according to a White House official. The actions will involve curbing the rise of homemade "ghost guns," as well as establishing model "red flag" laws.
