Bryan Wilson to Serve as Acting U.S. Attorney for District of Alaska 03/01/2021 12:00 AM EST Anchorage, AK – Effective today, Bryan Wilson begins serving as the Acting U.S. Attorney for the District of Alaska. Mr. Wilson, who has served as First Assistant U.S. Attorney for the District of Alaska since November 2017, assumes the position as Acting U.S. Attorney by virtue of the Vacancies Reform Act. Mr. Wilson has served with the Department of Justice, United States Attorney's Office as an Assistant United States Attorney since 1991. Mr. Wilson began his career with the United States Attorney's Office in the Northern District of Florida in 1991 and served as an Asset Forfeiture Coordinator, and as the  Civil/Appellate Chief from 2003 through 2010. Mr. Wilson transferred to the District of Alaska in 2010. Mr. Wilson has served as the Chief of the Financial Litigation Units in both the Northern District of Florida and District of Alaska.   Mr. Wilson was in private practice in Tallahassee, Florida from 1983 through 1991. He received his law degree from the University of Notre Dame Law School.
