Louisiana, Mississippi and Texas were the "worst" states for children during the pandemic, a new report found, citing issues including hunger, poverty and a lack of access to online schooling. "Kids and families are suffering all across this country, but there are some communities, and some states, better equipped to navigate through it," said Shane Garver, a senior director for Save the Children. |
