Mar 06, 2021 BREAKING: Senate passes $1.9 trillion Covid relief bill, including $1,400 stimulus checks, with no Republican support The Senate on Saturday voted 50 to 49 to pass the $1.9 trillion Covid-19 relief package. The bill includes $300 weekly unemployment benefits, a per-child allowance of up to $3,600 for one year and billions of dollars to distribute the coronavirus vaccines and to assist schools and local governments. The legislation must be passed by the House again before it can be sent to President Joe Biden for his signature.
