The latest Employment Cost Index news release has been posted on the BLS website at https://www.bls.gov/news.release/pdf/eci.pdf and also archived at https://www.bls.gov/news.release/archives/eci_01292021.pdf. Highlights are below. Compensation costs up 0.7% Sep 2020 to Dec 2020 and up 2.5% over the year ending Dec 2020 01/29/2021 Compensation costs increased 0.7 percent for civilian workers, seasonally adjusted, from September 2020 to December 2020. Over the year, total compensation rose 2.5 percent, wages and salaries rose 2.6 percent, and benefit costs rose 2.3 percent. HTML | PDF | RSS | Charts
