Assistant United States Attorney 12/15/2020 01:10 AM EST USAO Eastern District of California Criminal Division, Sacramento Office Sacramento, California Announcement #: 21-EDCA-09A Application Deadline: January 29, 2021 The United States Attorney is seeking an experienced attorney to serve as an Assistant U.S. Attorney in the Criminal Division of the Sacramento Office. The Assistant U.S. Attorney will be responsible for handling a variety of criminal cases to include complex white collar and economic crimes with an emphasis on unemployment insurance fraud.  Please note: This is a term position not-to-exceed March 26, 2022, subject to availability of funds. This position may be extended, or made permanent, without further advertising. Following appointment, Assistant U.S. Attorneys generally must reside in the district to which they are appointed. See 28 U.S.C. § 545 for district-specific information. This position is open to any U.S. Citizen to apply.
