Preston St., Suite 201, Baltimore, MD Description: The Office of the Attorney General is seeking applicants to serve as an Assistant Attorney General in the Health Occupations Prosecution and Litigation Division. The Assistant Attorney General will primarily be prosecuting licensing cases before the Maryland Board of Physicians and other health occupations licensing boards. The Assistant Attorney General will serve as an administrative prosecutor of disciplinary cases against health care professionals involving allegations of fraud, over-prescription of controlled dangerous substances, substance abuse, standard-of-care violations, incompetence and unprofessional conduct. The Assistant Attorney General works closely with the Board's investigatory staff, drafts charging documents, litigates cases before the Office of Administrative Hearings and makes presentations before the Board of Physicians.
