Dec 17, 2020 Four dead as winter storm hits Northeast with 3 feet of snow, leading to hundreds of car accidents Large parts of the eastern United States were blanketed in snow Thursday morning from a major storm that had tens of millions under winter weather alerts. More than 3 feet of snow fell in parts of New York and Pennsylvania, while the storm led to hundreds of car crashes and is thought to have played a role in the deaths of at least four people.
