The Criminal Division is seeking an entry-level attorney to serve as an Assistant United States Attorney.  The AUSA will be responsible for prosecuting a variety of federal crimes, with particular emphasis on firearm, violent crime and narcotics matters.  The AUSA will also be assigned appellate, research and writing responsibilities.

This is a temporary position for a term from the date of hire through no-later-than February 5, 2022.  This position may be extended or made permanent with further competition.
