Pennsylvanians who changed their mind about Trump want a 'chance of things calming down'

Erie County, in the most northwestern part of Pennsylvania, was part of the statewide turn back to Democrats that proved pivotal in Joe Biden's victory. Some residents of the diverse, blue-collar county hoped Trump could bring employment back to the area when they voted for him in 2016. But four years later, unemployment is higher and the president's trade war with China has negatively affected local manufacturing jobs.

"People are tired of the chaos and stagnant job growth. I think that was a major factor," a local Democratic official said.
