Former President George W. Bush on Sunday became the most prominent Republican so far to congratulate "President-elect" Joe Biden, while former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, a longtime ally of President Donald Trump, suggested it may soon be time to "move on" from the president's efforts to contest the election. Christie said Trump needs to "show us" proof of widespread voter fraud, a baseless claim the president has promoted in his refusal to concede, or else it's "time to move on." |
