Press Release FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Nov. 2, 2020 CONTACT: Bob Wheaton, 517-241-2112, wheatonb@michigan.gov Flint mobile food pantry distribution at one location cancelled for November LANSING, Mich. – One of the locations that provides nutritious food by the truckload to Flint residents has cancelled earlier announced distributions for November. There will no longer be November distribution at Prince of Peace Missionary Baptist Church, 1417 N. Stephenson St. Additional distributions for November may be scheduled at a later date. To check food distribution schedules, visit the Food Bank of Eastern Michigan website at FBEM.org and find the updated schedule on the Mobile Pantry Distribution page, or call 810-239-4441. The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) has provided the Flint mobile food pantries since February 2016 in partnership with the Food Bank of Eastern Michigan in Flint. This month's mobile food pantry distribution will have plenty of delicious, vitamin-rich produce and proteins, including carrots, onions, potatoes, cheese and ground turkey. Tuesday, Nov. 3, at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 10, at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 17, at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 24, at 10 a.m. Greater Holy Temple, 6702 N. Dort Hwy. Thursday, Nov. 5, at 10 am.
