Nov 07, 2020 Clinching victory, President-elect Biden declares 'time to heal in America' In his first speech as president-elect, Joe Biden delivered a message of unity and healing to a bitterly divided nation. Speaking directly to President Donald Trump's supporters, Biden said he understands their disappointment, "but now let's give each other a chance." Biden said that controlling the Covid-19 pandemic would be his top priority upon entering office. He was introduced by Vice President-elect Kamala Harris, who paid tribute to the women who paved the way for her place in history as the first woman elected to the office.
