Cory Dale Moore, 32, was last seen at his grandmother's house in Sanford, North Carolina, around 2 p.m. on September 3, 2020. His family said he left the house on foot without his shoes. His wallet and phone are also missing. Cory hasn't accessed his bank or social media accounts. The Lee County Sheriff's Office in North Carolina is investigating.
Shawn Higgins, 41, and his son, Trevor, were hunting at Shasta Costa drainage in the Bear Camp area about 45 miles east of Gold Beach, Oregon, when they became separated on October 14, 2016. Trevor Higgins was found four days later by search crews and airlifted to the hospital with severe hypothermia. Crews searched for the next week, but the search was called off on October 25. Shawn's case remains an open, missing persons case. The Curry County Sheriff's Office is investigating.
While in Colorado filming Friday's all-new Dateline, our producers discovered a family-owned pizzeria just outside of Denver, Colorado with a delicious signature dish: pizza fries. The restaurant is actually located right next to the bus stop where the victim in our story, Helene, was last seen. We'll tell Helene's story Friday.
