BREAKING: Supreme Court to take up Trump border wall spending, asylum enforcement

The Supreme Court said Monday that it will hear a challenge to the Trump administration's use of Pentagon money to build the southern border wall and also its appeal of a ruling that blocked the sending of asylum seekers to Mexico while they wait for their appeals to be heard.

The high court will hear the cases early next year, with decisions expected by spring. If Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden wins the election, however, the wall spending would likely be halted and the asylum policy could change.
