The second presidential debate between President Donald Trump and Joe Biden will be virtual, The Commission on Presidential Debates announced Thursday. The format will still be town-hall style, the CPD said, "in which the candidates would participate from separate remote locations." The move came after Trump contracted Covid-19. The CPD had said it was considering changes to the format and rules after the first debate last week, in which Trump repeatedly disregarded the rules, resulting in a chaotic debate that lacked in substantive policy conversation. |
