BREAKING: Second Trump-Biden debate will be virtual

The second presidential debate between President Donald Trump and Joe Biden will be virtual, The Commission on Presidential Debates announced Thursday.

The format will still be town-hall style, the CPD said, "in which the candidates would participate from separate remote locations." The move came after Trump contracted Covid-19. The CPD had said it was considering changes to the format and rules after the first debate last week, in which Trump repeatedly disregarded the rules, resulting in a chaotic debate that lacked in substantive policy conversation.
