Oct 08, 2020 BREAKING: American poet Louise Glück wins the Nobel Prize in Literature American poet Louise Glück won the 2020 Nobel Prize in Literature on Thursday for "her unmistakable poetic voice that with austere beauty makes individual existence universal," the Swedish Academy said. Glück, a professor of English at Yale University, has published 12 collections of poetry and some volumes of essays on poetry. All are characterized by a striving for clarity, the Academy said.
