Today, June 15, is the Final Day to Submit COVID-19 Positive Inpatient Admissions to Receive Additional Payment The Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) is reminding all hospital providers who wish to receive additional funding from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Provider Relief Fund that today, June 15, 2020, is the final day to submit COVID-19 positive inpatient admissions between Jan. 1, 2020, and June 10, 2020. The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) has announced that all hospitals who wish to be eligible for an additional payment from the HHS Provider Relief Fund must provide the department with an accounting of their COVID-19 positive inpatient admissions between Jan. 1, 2020, and June 10, 2020. These providers must also agree to the program terms and conditions. This information will be used to determine a second round of funding to hospitals in COVID-19 hotspots to ensure they are equitably supported in the battle against this pandemic.
