Feds Feed Families theme: Gleaning

Each year, more than 150 billion pounds of food is wasted in the USA. At the same time, 14 million households experience food insecurity. Gleaning (collecting & donating excess foods) addresses both food waste and food insecurity! Learn more and donate in the FFF Hub.

BOR LGBTQ+ Pride Month Observance - June 25, 10-11 am PDT

The Bureau of Reclamation invites all DOI employees to celebrate Pride Month in June. This one hour event features speaker & author Ryan Sallans on the topic of "Finding Similarities Through Our Differences." Join the live event on Microsoft Teams and contact sha-lcr-eeo@usbr.gov with questions.

Last week to vote for Dr. Donna Shaver (NPS) for the 2020 Sammies People's Choice Award - closes June 26!

Dr. Donna Shaver with the National Park Service is still in the running for the Partnership for Public Service's Services to America Medals People's Choice Award! You may vote for as many finalists as you want once every 24 hours. Dr. Shaver is being recognized for championing the conservation and recovery efforts for the endangered Kemp's ridley sea turtles, helping save the species from extinction by protecting and preserving the nests at Padre Island National Seashore.
