The Western District of Missouri is currently accepting applications for a one-year term Criminal Assistant U.S. Attorney to be assigned to the Kansas City Office.  This position may be extended and/or made permanent without further competition.

Assistant U.S. Attorneys generally must reside in the district to which he or she is appointed.  See 28 USC Section 545 for district-specific information.

Term appointment is conditioned upon a satisfactory pre-employment adjudication.  This includes fingerprint, credit and tax checks, and drug testing.  In addition, continued employment is subject to a favorable adjudication of a background investigation.
