At a news briefing Friday, President Donald Trump described an NBC News journalist as a "terrible reporter" for asking about the fears held by many Americans of the spread of the coronavirus. The reporter's question came after Trump said he felt "good" about possible drug treatments that might be on the horizon, disputing the reporter's suggestion that he was giving people false hope. Dr. Anthony Fauci, a key government health expert, said at the same briefing that the evidence for such treatments was purely anecdotal. |
