Chief Investigative Auditor - Medicaid Fraud Control Unit Posting Date: February 28, 2020 Closing Date: March 13, 2020 Job Title: Chief Investigative Auditor (Fiscal Admin II) Position Type: Regular Full Time Location: Office of the Attorney General-Criminal Division, Medicaid Fraud Control Unit 200 St. Paul Place, Baltimore, MD Description: The Office of the Attorney General Criminal Division is seeking applicants for the Chief Investigative Auditor in its Medicaid Fraud Control Unit (MFCU). This position reports to the MFCU Director, manages other auditors who work in the MFCU, assists with the collection and analysis of data needed for nationwide litigation, and works with Assistant Attorneys General to investigate and prosecute fraud by health care providers receiving Medicaid funds. Duties include providing and supervising auditing and accounting work for MFCU investigations and prosecutions; assisting with the resolution of problems arising in complex investigations and litigation; conducting specialized training for investigative auditors; managing the daily work of the MFCU's auditing section; and devising and implementing investigative plans.
