Without a new liver, Zach Branson, 33, might have only a month left to live. He was finally set to get a transplant, but last week his doctors in Colorado canceled it, citing concerns about the coronavirus. His cousin called the hospital's decision "a death sentence." The virus outbreak has forced hospitals across the country to make similar choices, with consequences that could be devastating for the tens of thousands of Americans awaiting new organs, transplant experts said.
