Register Now: Leveraging Existing Bioenergy Data Workshop On April 14–15, 2020, the U.S. Department of Energy's Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy's Bioenergy Technologies Office (BETO) will host a workshop entitled "Leveraging Existing Bioenergy Data" in San Francisco, CA to discuss how to collect and valorize underused datasets and associated knowledge, with the goal of making this information public on existing databases. This workshop seeks to connect industry scientists, data owners, and lawyers with federal government, academic, and National Laboratory representatives to shepherd valuable datasets to be used for maximum benefit. This effort can enable the growing bioeconomy with industrially-relevant data across the supply chain, and can help accelerate development and utilization of biotechnologies. This workshop will focus on: - Data Quantity/Quality
- Data Monetization
- Data Acquisition.
