Assistant Secretary Ford’s Travel to Vienna and London

Assistant Secretary for International Security and Nonproliferation Dr. Christopher A. Ford, who has been delegated the authorities and functions of the Under Secretary of State for Arms Control and International Security, will travel to Vienna and London, February 10–14, to discuss a range of arms control and nonproliferation issues.

In Vienna, Dr. Ford will attend the International Conference on Nuclear Security (ICONS), hosted by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), and participate in Ministerial-level activities and meetings.

In London, Dr. Ford will hold bilateral consultations and will lead the U.S. delegation to the P5 Conference.  Dr. Ford also will offer remarks on arms control policy at the Royal United Services Institute for Defense and Security Studies (RUSI) and the International Institute for Strategic Studies (IISS).
