Acting Assistant Secretary Reeker’s Travel to Germany, France, and Belgium

Acting Assistant Secretary for European and Eurasian Affairs Philip T. Reeker will travel to Munich, Germany; Paris, France; and Brussels, Belgium February 14–21.

On February 14, Ambassador Reeker will accompany Secretary Pompeo to Munich to attend the Munich Security Conference.  While in Munich, Ambassador Reeker will hold bilateral meetings with key Allies and partners to discuss coordination on global challenges, including the need to counter Russia's aggression against Ukraine.

In Paris, Ambassador Reeker will meet with French officials to discuss our cooperation on a range of issues, including strengthening the Transatlantic relationship to counter security challenges worldwide.  Ambassador Reeker will also meet with the French-American Foundation, as well as business leaders at an American Chamber of Commerce event to highlight the many ways U.S. and French businesses contribute to our mutual economic growth.

On February 20, Ambassador Reeker will travel to Brussels where he will meet with EU officials and staff at the U.S. Mission to the European Union.
