Jan 08, 2020 No survivors after Ukrainian passenger plane crashes in Iran A Boeing 737 plane crashed after takeoff in the Iranian capital, Tehran, on Wednesday, killing all 179 passengers on board, according to Iranian state TV and Ukrainian officials. Mechanical issues are suspected for downing the plane, Iranian state TV said. Video from the scene showed what appeared to be pieces of an aircraft fuselage, an engine and other debris.
