Jan 07, 2020 BREAKING: Ukrainian passenger plane with at least 167 aboard crashes after takeoff from Tehran, Iranian state TV reports A Ukrainian Boeing 737 crashed with at least 167 people aboard shortly after takeoff from Tehran's main airport early Wednesday, Iranian state TV reported. The crash was believed to have been caused by mechanical issues, state media reported. The fate of those aboard was not yet known, as rescuers were forced to pause their efforts because of a fire.
