Market Review:

The Open! - Which Open? As is often the case with markets in general, a simple concept showed its vulnerability at the end of the day Monday. After the market declined to move lower earlier in the day, it seemed we were headed back to the open. Which sometimes can bring up the question which open. In this case we had 4127.00, the open of the month, and 4139.00, the open of the Week, and since yesterday was Monday 4139.00 was also the open of the day. The market struggled trying to determine which number to go to. Likely we would have been sitting right in between the two had it not been for a last-minute rally that popped the market above 4134.00, and 4140.00 in the literal last minute of the cash market.
