Sorry! We Made a Mistake

Hey, Don here again.

Sell 1x 6595 PUT (26 SEP 25 expiration)
Buy 2x 6580 PUT (26 SEP 25 expiration)
Sell 1x 6565 PUT (26 SEP 25 expiration)
Profit: +145% gain in 2 days
Order Type: Net Credit Order – Limit at $1.35

Here's What to Do Next:

To execute this closing trade, access the trading platform and locate the open SPX put butterfly position in the model portfolio. Initiate a "Close" order by creating a 1-2-1 butterfly spread using the same strikes and expiration:

Select Sell 1 contract of the 6595 PUT (expiring 26 SEP 25).
Select Buy 2 contracts of the 6580 PUT (same expiration).
Select Sell 1 contract of the 6565 PUT (same expiration).
Set the order type to Limit Order, and enter a net credit of $1.35.
Confirm all legs match the original butterfly structure.
Submit the order and monitor for fill.

Why I'm Taking Action:

This butterfly was designed to capture premium quickly around a narrow SPX range, and after just 2 days, it has returned an impressive 145% profit. With the position nearing max value and time decay now working against further gains, it's a prudent time to close the trade and lock in profits while minimizing exposure to any sudden market moves.

The Justice Department, together with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), announced today that recent actions targeting unauthorized flavored e-cigarettes, or vapes, resulted in the seizure of more than 2.1 million illicit vaping products taken from five distributors and six retailers across seven different states.
