Stick to the plan and only liquidate positions on the open. Why? Because the bond market is still breaking lower… And with the S&P 500 (SPY) at all-time highs, there’s a very strong chance that over the next few weeks, the gap will be filled back lower before we consolidate and likely move higher again.  Don’t buy the gap up — as usual on the open, close winners and wait for opportunities to present themselves as we move forward. That’s what smart traders do! Because there’s going to be a lot of turbulence over the next several weeks, and he’s going to be president for four years. You’re not going to miss anything.  So while the market looks great this morning, it’s just one reaction. And there will be a reverse reaction that will create better opportunities!
