Orlando, Florida – United States Attorney Roger B. Handberg announces that a federal jury has found Johnson Saint-Louis (39, Deerfield) guilty of bank robbery using a dangerous weapon and using a firearm during a crime of violence. Saint-Louis faces up to 25 years in prison for the armed bank robbery, followed by a mandatory consecutive sentence of between 7 years, up to life, imprisonment for brandishing a firearm during the offense.

Tampa, Florida – U.S. District Judge Steven D. Merryday has sentenced Robert Boyan Carra (44, Clearwater) to 7 years and 3 months in federal prison for receiving, distributing, and possessing child sexual abuse material. The court also ordered Carra to pay $15,000 in restitution to the victims of the offense. Carra entered a guilty plea on January 12, 2024.

Tampa, Florida – U.S. District Judge Kathryn Mizelle today sentenced Darius Hudson (44, Arcadia) to 39 years and 2 months in federal prison for conspiracy to commit Hobbs Act robbery, three separate Hobbs Act robberies, and brandishing and discharging a firearm during the commission of those robberies. On January 22, 2024, a federal found Hudson guilty as charged. He is the last of his co-conspirators to be sentenced in the conspiracy.

Tacoma – The former Executive Director of the Western Washington Indian Employment Training Program (WWIETP) was sentenced yesterday in U.S. District Court in Tacoma to five months in custody for embezzling from a program receiving federal funds, announced U.S. Attorney Tessa M. Gorman.

U.S. Attorney Trini E. Ross announced today that Tyrone Pennick, 48, of Amherst, NY, who was convicted by a federal jury of conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute, and to distribute, 500 grams or more of cocaine, possession with intent to distribute, and to distribute, 500 grams or more of cocaine, maintaining a drug premises for the purpose of manufacturing and distributing cocaine, and for committing drug felonies while on conditions of pre-trial release, was sentenced to serve 310 months in prison by U.S. District Judge Richard J. Arcara.

U.S. Attorney Trini E. Ross announced today that Justin Hall, 43, of Wellington, Nevada, who was convicted of being a prohibited person in possession of firearms, was sentenced to time served (24 months) by U.S. District Judge Lawrence J. Vilardo.

NEWARK, N.J. – A Newark man was sentenced today to 65 months in prison for his role in a conspiracy to distribute and possess with intent to distribute narcotics, including fentanyl, heroin, and cocaine; and possessing with intent to distribute various narcotics.
