Jul 04, 2022 BREAKING: At least 5 dead, 16 taken to hospitals after shooting at Highland Park, Illinois, Fourth of July parade At least five people were killed and 16 were taken to hospitals after gunfire erupted at a July Fourth parade in Highland Park, Illinois, authorities said. The city of Highland Park confirmed that there's "an active shooter incident" and urged that "all individuals are advised to shelter in place."
