A Florida man was sentenced yesterday in the Southern District of Florida to 13 months' imprisonment and a $10,000 fine for his role in an insider trading scheme that netted over $1.6 million in profits.

Founder and Former CEO of Biscayne Capital Sentenced to 10 Years in Prison for $130M Fraud Scheme

Roberto Gustavo Cortes Ripalda (Cortes), 58, the co-founder, co-owner, and CEO of international advisory firm Biscayne Capital, was sentenced earlier today in Brooklyn, New York to 10 years in prison for conspiracy to commit wire fraud.
